Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
Yes, 100%. You get to the point where if you shop every single day you pretty much have to consider yourself a shopaholic. To be honest with you though, its better than being addicted to almost anything else. I wouldn't really want to give up my addiction to shopping.
How would you classify your style?
I love fashion all together so it would be really hard to classify my style to one specifically. I love to wear things that are classic and that look put together. At the same time, I am really girly and then at sometimes I can be super bohemian. I love a cute maxi dress/skirt with my hair down and a headwrap. It's virtually impossible to classify just one style for me.
What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing?
For me this is a no brainer, Target or H&M. I'm sure that you have heard a million people say this before, but there are so many things in Target that I sometimes convince myself that I need when I know I really don't. Sometimes Target just sucks you in and it's not only in the clothing section but with the candles, cosmetics, shoes and jewelry sometimes. I love that place, it's like wonderland.
Where do you find the best deals?
To be honest with you, I love shopping for deals. With that being said, I can find a great deal anywhere that I go. I love Old Navy and have seen some really good sales there lately. When things AREN'T on sale there though, they have gotten fairly expensive, I can't believe it! You can also always catch something for a great deal at Forever 21 or even Target.
What designer are you willing to splurge for?
When I am shopping, I usually just look for things I love. I don't care if they are designer or not, I buy it if I like it. If I had to pick one designer, I would chose Longchamp. Now I know what you're thinking, some of the bags aren't really that expensive. While thats true, I love to make an investment in a Longchamp bag, they really are great.
Do you have a "go to" shopping outfit?
I don't. I sometimes don't even think about what I am going to wear and end up putting on something that is really inconvenient. I hate when I get to the mall or something and then realize that I am wearing leggings, two layers of some kind of top and boots. I hate when I have to take everything off and put everything back on. Sometimes I get lazy and leave my leggings on when I try something on but pay for it later when I get home and re-try everything on and hate most of it.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Sometimes when I walk into Forever 21, I like and want almost everything in the store. I also walk into Aldo and like almost all of the shoes that are on the shelf.
What is one staple clothing piece that you cannot live without?
Definitely leggings. I say this because I love how comfortable they are and recently with my weight loss, they are what is the best for me. I don't want to go and buy a whole bunch of pairs of pants because I am continuing to lose weight and it is a complete waste. I think though, that leggings can be made into so many different outfit creations and there are so many different types of them.
What is a trend that you hope never goes out of style?
Lace everything!
What trend did you love that passed way too quickly?
Hrmmmm! I don't know. I think every trend that has gone out, has gone out for a reason but I would have to say the loafers with spikes on them. I don't know why, but I HATED that trend. I love loafers but I really don't like the stupid studs! Hahah, ugh.
Who is your fashion icon?
I like to create looks from things I am inspired by on a daily basis. I don't really like anyone elses style more than another. If I see something in the store, I will pick it up if I like it. If I see someone wearing something that I like, I will try and find it in the store. My style is a product of my life and the things around me.
