Fun Links on Friday, 2/28!

Every single time I find an article I love, I get so excited.  Granted, I read so much everyday that it's very simple for me to find a couple of things that I do enjoy (whether they've been published this week or not).  Here are this week's Fun Links on Friday:

34 Problems Men Will Never Understand via Cosmopolitan

I can't lie, some of the things Cosmo posts drive me insane.  I don't know about you, but sometimes I even feel pressured or something when I'm reading their content.  In the same token, I absolutely love most of it, I don't really know if that makes sense but it does to me.  If you read this story you will see, there is almost nothing that I don't agree with.  Honestly, what guy realistically knows where/what the waterline is?  Not one.  There are some girls that I'm friends with that don't know what the waterline is when I start trying to explain it.

Miranda Kerr Looks Stunning in Her First H&M Campaign via StyleCaster

So I know you guys already know this about me, but I love H&M.  Something you may not know is that I am obsessed with Miranda Kerr.  Everything about her is basically perfect.  You know how everyone feels about Beyonce?  Well, I love Beyonce but I love Miranda Kerr way more.  I feel like she can defy gravity or something with her gorgeousness.  I don't know.  Anyway, H&M x Miranda Kerr sounds like my heaven so I cannot wait for it to become a reality and the collaboration is on it's way as new photos were released today.  Look for the new stuff in March (tomorrow!!!!).

Alala Style via Alala

This.  Website.  Is.  Chic.  Now, this workout gear is super chic and I absolutely love the designs.  My favorites (if I had to pick) would most definitely be the look of the sheer-paneled workout capri's and probably any one of the bras.  I love the look of simplistic stuff when it comes to workout gear.  I don't like to be in the gym or running outside with some obnoxious look on, I always want to be understated and Alala Style definitely offers that.  The #Alalalife also allows you to go from workout to the grocery store, as the looks are so transitional and versatile.  Check it out!

What other links have you all been loving this week?  I can't get enough of StyleCaster and Cosmo on the reg along with other sites so if you see these links time and time again, then you know why.  Let me know in a comment below or send me a tweet!  Have an awesome weekend everyone!

Braziliant!

Okay guys.  As I had previously said, the weather has finally been looking up but I knew for sure that it was too good to be true (being that it's only February).  Granted, tomorrow is the last day of the month and I could not be more excited.  For some reason I just cannot stand February because it always kind of meant 'dead of winter' to me and I hate winter (no surprise).

Being that you know I hate winter, I bring you a nice little pop of color for the time being.  While we wait for the weather to be on a steady incline rather than just popping up in random places when it feels like it, March IS actually coming so that means it's time to starting bringing out the pastels and the brights.  Nothing makes me happier.

Come May I'm sure I'll do Manicure May but for now you have to take a look at this color!  I remember when the color came out with the Braziliant collection and I was so excited.

This is the collection titled color Braziliant.  I love the bright pop of color because it's HOT orange and it just makes me happy.  I can use this as a crutch to get me through the rest of this gross winter weather.

As you can see, the polish has amazing duo-chrome.  The subtle hints of purple are just enough to make it look like 'not your average orange' polish.  I like the application of this polish,  I have two coats on here and that's really all you need.  Normally Essie polishes are great this way, pretty opaque.

I feel like I also must add that I have Lush 'Dream Cream;' on my hands at the time of these photos so thats why they look a little oily.  I couldn't wait to take the pictures because I wanted to show you the color.  I am going to definitely be sharing my favorites for dry skin coming up soon, so make sure you don't miss it.  I have eczema and not everything works for me  (barely anything), so I have a lot to say about Dream Cream and another line of amazing products.

What are you doing to get through these last couple of cold months?  Thank you so much for reading and make sure you check in for my dry skin (eczema friendly) post coming really soon!  Also, more outfit of the days coming up as well.  Send me a tweet or comment!

Jeffrey Campbell Day Dreams.

Coming from a place of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), I can't help but just long for summer every single second of every single day.  I know I have talked about it before but the struggle is real here as I wait very impatiently for the warmer temperatures to come.  I say all of this with the temptation of this past weekend where it was 61 degrees on both days.  Yes I am serious.  Here at the good old Jersey Shore, we had a beautiful weekend but now it's almost hump day and I am left only with reminiscing thoughts on the warmer temperatures of the weekend and hoping that they'll come again soon.

On this glorious Wednesday eve, I want to talk to you about a certain Jeffrey Campbell lookbook called "DAY DREAMS."  I don't know why I haven't seen it until now, but I am in love with almost everything in the lookbook, I want it all.  There has to be something special about a shoe for me to love it.  Granted, there are some basics that I'm sure are loved by everyone, but for me to be obsessed with a shoe, it has to be next level.  Do you feel the same way?

There's something about the pastel colors here that make me swoon.  Being that I do want the desirable temperatures so bad, maybe the colors just make me feel like they are already here.  Whatever it is, I just love the vibe.  I love the blue hair, the whimsical feel and everything else.  Check it out and let me know for yourself.  Do you have SAD?  I certainly do.  Check out the lookbook here and send me a tweet to let me know your thoughts.

My Go-To Outfit for Spring Days!

Today was an absolutely fantastic day.  For the first time in weeks, it was not in the teens as far as the temperatures go, it was perhaps in the 50's!  I know, pull your chins up off of the floor.  It was actually 61 degrees here at one point and everyone and their mother was abuzz about it.  Actually funny enough, there was an event called the Polar Bear Plunge going on in the area that I think they ironically lucked out for.  The Polar Bear Plunge is event where people dive into the Atlantic Ocean at sub zero temperatures to raise money for charitable causes or organizations.

I look extremely awkward here, but I wanted you to get a full understanding of what I was wearing.  My maxi skirt is so basic, just from Old Navy.

Here I am again looking awkward and oh so fabulous.  My belt is from Target.

These shoes are an anomaly.  Sometimes they are so comfortable and others they aren't at all.  I picked them up at H&M for a favorable price (I mean, how expensive can things from H&M really get?) and I have been wearing them a decent amount.

I know I have worn this on the blog before in many outfits.  I can't get enough of this jacket from H&M.

I got this belt from Target with another dress I had purchased.

My favorite part about this post is most definitely the haircut.  I literally cannot believe I finally cut my hair.  I have been bothering everyone in my life about getting a cut and never actually did it until Tuesday this week and I could not be more excited.  I love how healthy this feels and how amazingly happy it makes me feel.  I would suggest going for a cut if you are feeling like you need some new inspiration or if you're feeling stuck in a routine of boring hair.

What do you guys think?  Leave a comment below!  What outfits do you always find yourself going back to?  This is one of mine for sure.  I have definitely featured it on the blog before and I am sure that I will again!  Send me a tweet or let me know what you think in the comments below!  Thank you so much for reading and I will see you again soon!
