Thanksgiving 2014!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!  I just absolutely love this time of year.  There's something to be said about getting together with family, celebrating the good (and the bad) that the past year has brought us and just eating, drinking and being merry.  Without the bad, there wouldn't be the good and I am just so thrilled to be able to spend times of reflection like this with the people that I love.

My Thanksgiving morning started with a bang at 8:30ish.  It was the CLASSIC Thanksgiving emergency.  My neighbor is texting me frantically telling me that she cannot fit her turkey in her own oven so she needs my oven.  I know that doesn't make her very happy but for some reason, it just makes me giggle.  It makes me feel like I'm in some Thanksgiving movie.  Classic.

Thanksgiving preparations began a couple of days before of course.  My uncle was hosting it at his house and I asked my aunt what she wanted me to bring and she said dessert.  I was so happy because I am normally not a great cook, so when she said dessert I knew my baking specialties could shine.

I went to Costco to pick up a cheesecake and some cookies as well though.  Reason for this (Does there have to be one?) is because I feel like the holiday time is an excuse for Costco cheesecake.  If you have never had a Costco cheesecake, it's simple - you haven't lived.  They are the best, so are their cookies.  I wrote THANKSGIVING in Sharpie marker on the package of cookies so that no one would eat them and the next day they were all gone!  I honestly could not believe it.  So naturally, I made more.  Whatever, you'll see the photos below.

Oh and when I was done making everything, I put little pink post-it notes with messages on each thing making sure the boys knew that they shouldn't eat it until Thanksgiving.  It kind of worked.

We started 'dinner' a little earlier this year because my older cousin Patrick had to leave earlier.  He works as a security manager at a mall and the Black Friday deals start on Thanksgiving.  You know how that is!  He had to eat and was gone by about 2:30-3:00.  It stunk that he had to leave early but it was great to see him and I'm happy we got the chance to catch up.  See my cousin in the background up there sneaking in some fruit from our tiny fruit tray BEFORE dinner?  So bad, hahaha.

I guess this is the best close up I got of the bird.  It has a bacon cross on it.  Umm, hello.  ALL HAIL BACON.  Makes me so happy.  Who DOESN'T worship bacon?  We do in the Irvine family.  Thank you and goodnight.

The full, delicious spread for dinner.  Ugh, can we all just take a moment.  My uncle is such an amazing cook.  No wonder he chose to be a chef as a career.  There's no one like him when it comes to making such awesome meals.  I am so thankful to catch a tip or two here and there.  Whenever I have a question about something when it comes to cooking, he always knows the answer. #Happiness

I guess these are just a couple of random action shots of things happening?  Just please enjoy my aunt standing on a chair taking a photo of the food.  She definitely didn't want me taking a picture of her at the time because there's more than one bird on the thanksgiving table (ahem).  On the other side, Ean is just oddly smiling and eating more of that fruit.  Ugh, he's so damn cute.  My dad is mid-thought?

Here is the dessert spread.  Another moment of silence for the godliness that is desserts.  If you can tell, there are a couple of shot glasses there to the side.  You know we indulged.  Also as you can see the fruit is almost completely gone (thank you Ean).  I made chocolate chews, there's the cheesecake, my aunt made a pumpkin pie, I made rice crispy treats, and I made cookies.  As you can also tell, everyone likes their hot beverages differently.  For me: black coffee.  My 11 year old cousin: jasmine green tea (omg).  For my aunt: 8 MILLION spoonfuls of sugar and some cream.  My dad: a little cream.  My uncle: a little cream, a little sugar.  My brother: who the hell knows.

Clearly we are THRILLED about this photo here.  I don't know what we were thinking or what we were about to do but we were just ya know, lookin' great.  I know my aunt took this because I was just standing there with my hands around the boys feelin' thankful on Thanksgiving.  For some reason, the faces just say it all here.  Love them more than you know.

Here's a random shot of my dad, Pat and my uncle.  They were watching some random video on my dads phone and enjoying some random ale that my uncle brought out.  They were happy so I wasn't asking any questions.  This was pre-dinner, I think we were munching on the delicious Charcuterie platter my uncle had out, it was the best.  Um, can we talk about the wall color in this room?  Ugh, I dieeeee for it!

I cannot say enough how thankful and happy I am to have my beautiful family in my life.  You're handed lemons sometimes, but just make lemonade and get your family to help you.  Be thankful for and bask in the joy that you're given, and if you feel like that's lacking - make your own joy to be thankful for.  Okay, enough is enough.  I love my family.  How was your Thanksgiving?  Send me a tweet and let me know.  I hope it was GREAT.  Thank you for reading.  -Brit.

Thanksgiving Eve: Facebook Reflections

Facebook has this uncanny ability to remind us of things that we don't want to know.  On this eve of Thanksgiving, I sit here browsing the FB feed and seeing what my friends are up to, because I DO care about SOME of them.  I mean, it's honestly true.  Some people on my friends list I do care about, others I honestly couldn't care less.

Yes, there have been bumps in the road, yes there have been times where things are absolutely amazing, but it has all been part of the journey.  Without the downs, I feel like I would not have had the opportunity for the ups.  Nothing is ever easy and I feel like I have TRULY been tried, especially in this past year, but there is always something great just around the corner and I'm always working and waiting for that.

If there's ever a chance in life when I am feeling down, I look to my close friends and family for help.  I usually always find someone to talk to, someone is always there but if in that rare case everyone is busy, I always find myself.  This is what is MOST important and why I always say that its super crucial that you are honest with yourself because at the end of the day what YOU put out and how YOU act around people, is the image you'll see in the mirror at the end of the day.

When all is said and done, I question some of the things people post on Facebook everyday.  At times, the demons inside some of these FB friends of mine allow them to go off on tangents that I know they'll regret.  At other times, beautiful people share beautiful moments of their lives and it's a great thing.  There are also things I know for sure people post and will definitely feel embarrassed about; but that realization comes way too late as I feel INSTANTLY embarrassed FOR them.  I think it's important that these extremes meet and in that moment, Facebook may exist as this 'Post MySpace Dreamworld' or something.  I don't know.  After all people do have the right to post whatever they want on Facebook and mostly no one (except the Facebook police) are there to stop them.

What are your thoughts about the things people post on Facebook?  I know you have opinions.  Leave a comment below or send me a tweet, I am interested to know how you feel.  Also, make sure you stay tuned for my Thanksgiving post!  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  -Brit.

Weekend in Photos 11/21-11/23

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had/are having a fantastic weekend!  I figured I would share my week in pictures today and I hope that you'd share yours as well!

I put up a new Twitter photo recently and I actually really like it!  I put a cute little filter on it so that I could try and block out my eczema because it's that time of year again.  Also take note of these red wine colored nails that I LOVE around the fall/winter.  The last and final thing I LOVE about this photo is my flash tattoo that I have on my wrist.  These flash tatts make me so happy and I'll have another order in for Mr. Kate ones soon!

Now I'll be honest, I think this is from either Thursday or Friday - certainly not the weekend.  TUT.com is an awesome website where you can sign up for daily e-mails that send encouraging messages to you.  It's just nice to have them sitting in your inbox when you wake up or for later on in the day when you finally get a chance to take a look at them.  Sometimes we all need a little assurance or just a pick me up and usually during the week is when it's most needed.  They don't send the e-mails on the weekend, I wish they would, but during the week it's a really nice little surprise.

The dog decided that he wanted to just randomly nap on the touch in this really uncomfortable-looking position that I can't really understand.  Reeeeeeally no other comments on this.

I am so happy to have gotten some new sheets for my bed!  These are obviously just for the winter because they are flannel but they are so nice.  Come spring and warmer weather I'll start looking for something else but these are going to be great for now.  Still no word on what type of comforter I'd like but I have been looking around and have a few ideas.  I don't know if you can tell from the cart but I picked these up from Target and the best part?  I got them for..... $15.99!  They were originally $24.99 on sale for $19.99.  I had a cartwheel and got them for the final $15.99 price.  I love cartwheel, you should most definitely check them out if you don't have it already.  It really gets you a lot of discounts on some regularly purchased items!

This photo is obviously a hilarious snapchat.  I mean obviously lol.  I don't know what mood I was in when I made this but I guess I wanted to be cute and Christmasy.  I'm just noticing now that my hair  makes me look like a Santa beard or something.  I don't know I'm really weird, don't judge.

This is probably my favorite thing in the blog post.  I have had this poster since I was probably five years old.  My dad got it for me and it has been hanging up in my room forever!  I have always been a lover of all things computer and this totally made me happy hanging on the wall.  Now that I'm older and I have more of a preference for design, I still kept this and look at it every once in a while.

I apparently live in the town of 'Local Weather' today, as that's what displayed when I tapped the weather app earlier this morning.  I don't know, I was just happy enough to see the 66 degrees for tomorrow!  Who needs colder days?  CERTAINLY NOT ME.  :)

Now these rice crispy treats may look like the most delicious things you've ever seen but they were a total fail this time around.  I followed the recipe on the back of the rice cereal box directly and still they came out too hard.  In the future I'm going to continue to use a little more marshmallows and butter than I did here, it always makes for a little bit of a better final result.

What have you all been up to this weekend?  Nothing crazy insane here, but I wanted to share nonetheless.  Thank you for reading as always, send me a tweet and I'll talk to you soon!  -Brit.

My Current Favorites - November 2014

So recently there have been a few things that I just cannot put down and I really wanted to share them with you!  You're going to have to excuse the horrible shadowing in some of these photos, I had to take them at night and there was obviously NO natural light whatsoever.  They really didn't turn out as planned.  Anyway!  The holidays are getting closer and I can't wait to start wearing a red lip but for now, let me show you some of the things I just can't live without NOW!

To get things started is the Clean&Clear Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent.  I know I've talked about this in the past in my 'I'm With The Brand Series,' buy it was a different rendition.  Recently I have started trying out this one and just like the other, I just can't get enough!  It's great to use as often as possible for an extensive toning/cleaning but it really helps diminish breakouts and spots.

The Garnier Color Styler comes with a story!  I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned here that I wanted to dye my hair lavender plenty of times.  I just cannot bring myself to do it somehow because I am scared of what a corporate environment might say about it.  Otherwise it would have been done by now.  I picked up the Garnier Color Styler and used it and it was ADORABLE!  I just put it in the ends of my hair and dyed the tips purple.  It lasted about a week with me switching on and off the days that I washed my hair.  The Color Styler does say that it lasts 2-3 washes.  I also got featured on their site by using the hashtag #funnestgirl!  A rep from Garnier commented on my Instagram photo and featured my photo, it was awesome!  Pick it up and try it yourself!

Target nail polish has always been a favorite of mine.  I think I have even talked about it before on here, I don't know for sure.  I just figured I would include it here because I want people to know how amazing this stuff is and it's 97 cents.  I mean come on! There's also always a Cartwheel deal on it too so how can you go wrong?  Cartwheel gives me liiiiiife.

Finally my favorite thing of this entire favorites post: DETOX Dry Shampoo by drybar.  This stuff is serious magic and I can't really explain it any other way.  The scent is AMAZING which is great because I have yet to find a dry shampoo that I love the smell of, they are always disgusting or just 'okay.'  I guess I would probably say this one smells like vanilla/coconut or just magic unicorn dust.  This is aside from the fact that it works WONDERS with hair.  I seriously get oily hair after the first day of not watching it, that's how bad it gets.  Most dry shampoos don't do a damn thing and this works INSTANTLY.  I would recommend this up and down and over again.

So probably my second favorite thing of this favorites post has to be these flash tattoos.  I have been obsessed with them ever since I saw them on Mr. Kate for the first time and I just didn't know where to get them other than Mr. Kate and online anywhere else.  Sometimes with things you just need instant gratification and I wanted it with these so I wanted to find them in a store.  Enter Marshalls.  I literally found two packages of these, one for $5 and one for $4 and I couldn't have been happier.  As you can tell I used some of them and others I didn't use at all yet because I want to saver all of the suns.  I almost just don't want to use them because they are too beautiful.  They last about 3-4 days on your skin and you can definitely take them off easily if you need to!  My next purchase of these will definitely be on MrKate.com though, I LOVE hers!

Benefit's Gimme Brow has been one of my favorites now for a couple of months and I think I have talked about it before but now it has tough competition.  Although I think it probably will remain my favorite, Maybelline's Brow Drama has given it a real run for its money.  One of the biggest differences between the two aside from the size is definitely the consistency.  When you put the Benefit Gimme Brow on, it's seamless and just sits on your brow without knowing its there.  The Maybelline formula is extremely waxy and you can feel it all day.  It's not annoying, but why wear that when I can feel nothing with the other product.  The brushes are also completely different.  The Benefit brush is much smaller and the Maybelline brush has a round ball at the end that you are supposed to brush against the grain before you brush with the grain of your eyebrow hair.  Interesting, but I still like Gimme Brow better.  :)

THIS MASCARA THOUGH.  Benefit is my queen this month.  I have just been loving They're Real for so many reasons.  I got a sample of it on my birthday LAST YEAR that I didn't open till recently and I have just been dying over it.  I hated it at first as I had another sample that I used previously and I just was unimpressed but recently it has been working wonders.  My lashes are super long and awake-looking.  They also look separated and not 'spider-lash-ish' if thats a thing.

Creamy Radiant Concealer by Nars.  What can I say about you?  I just love the coverage.  I always use this for under my eyes because I have HORRID under eye circles and it does a great job.  I don't normally use it for random spots because I don't think it matches my skin tone all over my face, just under my eyes.  Is that weird?  Probably.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk is kind of an old favorite.  I liked this one a while back but I just received it again in my Target Beauty Box and I just like it again!  It's a great lid primer for shadow.

My new obsession for makeup remover wipes is definitely this package from Target's Up&Up brand.  I can't even explain how nice they are for about $4.  Not only are they cooling and relaxing but they can also wake you up a little if you need to in the morning.  One of the sides has exfoliating capabilities and then there's the other side thats just smooth.  Loving these!

The Nudes Palette by Maybelline has been something that I have been wanting to try and I don't regret it.  I know it got mixed reviews online and that's okay but I don't hate it.  It actually reminds me of a MAC pro palette that I created at a pro store last year.  I just moved so most of my makeup is still in boxes but I picked up this to get me through and I like it so far.

Up The Amp & Hot Chocolate from MAC have been my jams lately.  I know I have talked about MAC lipstick on here before so I wont go into it again but I just love these colors right now.  I think they are unexpected for fall and just fun instead of red for fall or maroon for winter.  Also, NYX San Paulo Soft Matte Lip Cream has been fun lately.  I always like this color.

Urban Decay has a great eyeliner and it's definitely this one.  I am OBSESSED with the color Perversion in the 24/7 line.  I love it mostly for my waterline because I hate how they rarely make anything great for the waterline anymore!

Let me know what you've been loving lately!  Leave a comment below or send in a tweet, I would love to hear and get some recommendations.  I can't wait for the holiday season (eeeee!).  It makes me so happy and I can't wait to start posting some fun stuff in that realm.  Talk to you soon!  -Brit.

Bedroom Tour!

Tell me why I felt so inclined to share a 'bedroom tour' with you guys today.  I don't know why, but I am just in love with my new room.  I feel like this style is so fantastic and suites me so much more.  There are things I want to show you and questions I want to ask you so lets  get started!

Even down to the door knob, I am so happy.  Just looking at it puts me in a good mood for some reason.  Probably one of the best things about the room hands down.  My second and third favorite things overall?  My fairy lights around the window and my precariously placed mirror on the chair.  Does anyone have any suggestions about how to conceal those extra lights that lead to the outlet?

This is one section of my room.  I purchased this Malm dresser from Ikea and I could NOT BE HAPPIER with it.  I spent a lot of time looking for something that I liked online because the closest Ikea store I have to me is about an hour away.  I wanted to have a good idea of what they had online in the back of my head because when I got there I wanted to be able to compare and it worked out great.  I ended up picking something similar to what I found online but there were SOOOO many other options actually in the store.  It worked to my advantage knowing what was in both places.

This is one little bit of my makeup that I have displayed on my dresser.  I don't have much room so I have to make  due with what I have and the surface area of this dresser is perfect for what I need.  I'm currently burning 'Ski Lodge' from Bath and Body Works and I LOVE it.  It's one of the newer ones this year (at least I think) and it's a different smell, kind of manly so boyfriend approved.

I also have my adorable box of matches and a pink lighter for lighting candles.  Always have to have them at the ready.  My Clarisonic is always at the ready and the lipsticks are on display!  The acrylic cases that I keep my makeup in are from Marshalls actually!  I had been looking for them but they were so expensive everywhere else and I found them for a great price at Marshalls (I think I had luck).  I wish we had a close Home Goods, but we don't.  WAH.

My DIY closet storage system fits perfectly along this other wall (!!!), can you freaking believe that perfect fit!?  I honestly could not believe that I didn't have to cut anything.  At the end my dad is renting some storage space with random clothes, but it's just because he hasn't built his own storage system yet, haha.  As you can see there still is that stupid plastic storage thing down in the corner, that I plan to replace with something nicer sometime soon.

My dresser doesn't just hold my clothes and computer, it has to hold my adorable little sandbox from Brookstone.  It is SO extremely relaxing to have this near me to just play with at any other time I may need it.  As you can see I have all my First Aid Beauty stuff that I use on the regular, my perfumes, my Mario Badescu lotion thats on it's last leg (I will definitely be repurchasing this one).  In the clear acrylic box on the right hand side holds some rings, earrings and bracelet.  I love the look of it.

I hope you loved this cute little tour of my bedroom, I am obsessed!  There's a reason that I didn't show the bed and it's because I don't have the exact sheets and things I want yet!  That will be a whole other post because there's a specific couple of things I want to buy to design it myself.  Let me know what you think about the decor!  I can't wait to add more.  Send me a tweet or leave a comment.  Thank you so much for reading as always.  -Brit.

Monday Motivation

I'm normally not one for the whole "Monday Motivation" thing but at work recently, I have been posting a lot of it.  I can't explain why I don't like it, so there must be a little of me that does.  This quote makes me happy.  I think it is TOTALLY true because some of the best projects are a result of taking on a challenge without knowing how it's all going to turn out.  Don't you agree?  What quotes inspire you?  I know for sure that this one makes me feel a little bit stronger if there are thoughts of weakness in my mind.  If there are times when I'm feeling like everyone in my life can't motivate me at one point, I definitely turn to quotes like this.  It is OKAY to think that about everyone in your life at one point, sometimes it just happens.  Looking at quotes like this and bright colors can instantly change your mood and get you thinking better again.  Let me know what you think about when you're feeling down.  Whats your favorite quote?  Send me a tweet or leave a comment below and let me know.  Thanks for reading as always.  -Brit.

My Week In Photos: November 8

I want to start off this post by saying the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS to my all-time hero, my father.  One day you will get to know him more in another blog post (as if you don't know enough about him already).  I'm SO lucky to have been brought up by the BEST father in the entire world, I'm so thankful.  Love you dad, I hope you enjoyed your day and your gifts.

As I mentioned above, it was my fathers birthday and this was one of the things that I got him.  He's a TOTAL fan of the Acid Kuba Kuba cigars.  This is just one of the ones that he always goes back to and one that I know if I get him, he will like.  It's one of the simpler ones that he likes among all of the other much more complicated ones in the smoke shop.

As you all know, I posted yesterday about this fabulous new necklace that I got, I wore it today!

I posted the other day about my Target Beauty Box.  I am LOVING it so far.  It even had one of my old faves, a NYX eye pencil in Milk.  I'm falling back in love with it and falling newly in love with this L'Oreal lip color in Nude Secret.

Of course you have to know that I VOTED!  To check out my thoughts about voting, click here.

This is the ADORABLE mermaid lego that my little cousin gave to me.  I just think it's the cutest thing in the entire world.  I keep it in my car and it just makes me happy to look at it.

This is my gorgeous aunt after I straightened her hair.  I should have taken a before picture as well but just picture her with super curly hair.  She never straightens her hair and she let me do it tonight.  Basically when I was done she was wanting to take my straightener home.  She has doubts about it because of how long it can take her but I showed her this time that it really doesn't.  Next time I'm up by her, I will be taking her out to buy her own.  Loving it!

What was your week like?  I am happy to have included some fun photos in here for you and I hope you enjoyed.  I know some of them were repeats but there were a few new ones.  Tweet me some pics of your week or let me know what you did in the comments!  Ttys.  -Brit.

Matte Triad Collar from BaubleBar

I have been such a fan of BaubleBar for the longest time and I have been waiting to grab something from the website.  I don't know why I waited so long.  I am SO happy to finally have this drop dead gorgeous necklace.  The thing I like about it the most?  It's so unique.  My favorite part of the necklace overall?  The MINT colored chain.  Ugh, I literally just DIIIEEE.

I love this darling little pouch the necklace comes in.  Not only is this cute, but it's protective.  Right when you take your jewelry out of it's shipping box, the first thing you see is this cute little pouch.

After you take it out of the pouch, you'll see its wrapped in bubble wrap with a cute 'YAY' sticker and a guide to caring for your baubles.  The 'YAY' sticker is the perfect sentiment for when you receive everything.

HOW ADORABLE IS THIS NECKLACE?  Real talk.  I think the reason why I love it so much is because upon first glance it wasn't something I would pick out but after looking at it a bunch of times, I realized I had to have it.  I love all of the colors so much but the mint chain is my favorite part of it.

All in all, how darling is this necklace?  I cannot WAIT to get something else because I'm in love with almost everything.  I think I have my heart set on these Minerva Studs for my next purchase but we will see.  Have you ordered anything from BaubleBar?  Tweet me and let me know or leave a comment here.  Thanks for reading as always!  -Brit.

Current Candle Crave

My current candle crave has all to do with the seasons change.  Sense I know I've blogged about my all-time fall favorite from Bath and Body Works (Autumn) before, I figured I would tell you about what I'm burning right now!

For added adorableness, let's talk about the cutest matches you will ever see in your life.  I've seen cute matches like this in the past at places like Francesca's, but this one is holiday happiness in a box.  I don't know if you can tell from the photo but the matches are huge, perfect for lighting the candle.  You don't have to worry about burning your finger as the match will ignite for long enough.

Excuse the horrible, terrible photo but this candle is absolutely gorgeous.  The packaging is a beautiful royal blue with this metallic opal sticker.  Not to mention the stunning pattern on the side thats gold.  There's nothing that I don't like about it basically.

Getting into the scent, it reminds me a little bit of something amber-scented.  I'm really bad at describing scents so I don't want to try, but all I will say is that it's an understand amber scent.  I know there is a scent description on the bottom, but I think it's just better than you go and smell it for yourself!  ;)

What have you been burning lately candle-wise?  I can't wait to start burning Christmas scents because they make me the happiest.  Send me a tweet and let me know or leave a comment. -Brit.

VOTE 2014: The impact.

Did you?  I find it very difficult to get most of my friends out to the polls.  Being that I am the only one out of my friend group that is especially involved with politics as much as I am, no one really understands how important it is.  I specifically try and let my influence shine down on them without them knowing, but that never works and I always end up getting into some conversation that I've brought on, rather than them bringing something up to me.

It really stinks that politics is not something people want to willingly talk about (at least in my age group).  It makes me wonder, when did the most important things start becoming so understated?  Politics are important, but most people think that 10-second selfies on a snapchat story are more important.  This ACTUALLY sickens me.  Don't get me wrong, I love having fun and complaining with the rest of them about someone who puts a 10-second selfie on their story.. but then again, if you don't vote you can't complain right?

I've tried to bring up current events, voting and politics with my friends a couple of different ways.  For instance, take friend A for example, he's a big sports fan.  I try to compare it to his favorite sport.  I was all excited because today the Huffington Post said they were adding snaps to their story if you sent one to them and they screenshot mine.  Naturally, I told him about it.  He laughed at me but I told him, "if it was for ______ team, you would do it too" and he agreed.  So things like this work when getting other people to understand the value, but when it comes down to it, you wont get them to think any differently about going out to vote if the issues don't DIRECTLY affect them in that moment.  If I was to tell friend A that his TV service was going to be shut off during the next ______ game if he didn't get out to vote, he still probably wouldn't go, but when his TV service got shut off when the next _______ game came on because he didn't vote, I'll throw that right back into his lap.  If you don't vote, you cannot complain.

Then there are friends that just think this entire thing is a joke.  I hate when they do that!  I had a conversation about voting today with one of my good friends, let's call her friend B.  I was reminding her to go out and vote today and to make sure that she makes her voice heard.  If anything, Senate and local elections are exciting because they feel more 'community' based.  Does that make any sense?  I don't know.  But anyway, I told her to make sure that she goes out and votes.  During our conversation she told me that she wasn't even registered.  My jaw basically dropped to the floor.  I have known this friend for years now and all of this conversation we've had and she had never told me that she wasn't registered.  I would have had her register online and vote in every election if I knew that was the case.  Minutes later, she reveals that she was kidding and that she is registered to vote but only votes in presidential elections.  Okay, cool.  I don't believe anything she says about voting now lol.  Whatever, I understand that friend B doesn't really like it, but it's certainly not a joke.

Alllllllll this yacking away for what?  Nothing really I guess.  I just want people all over America to understand the impact and pertinence of voting.  No jokes, and certainly no complaints until they do.

Did you vote today?  Tweet me and let me know.  Thanks for reading as always.  -Brit.
