We all have bad days and we all have good ones. Whether I'm the happiest I've ever been or I'm really feeling completely horrible, there are a couple of things that never fail to completely cheer me up. I figured that today, I would share them with you. Let's get started.
A Hot, Sunny Day at The Beach
If you read along here, you know that I am no stranger to the beach. I'm actually its biggest fan. There's nothing better than a hot, sunny day in the sand. I really enjoy sitting back, relaxing and letting the sun hit my skin. It's a feeling that's euphoric and hard to explain. Best part about it? If you get too hot, you can take a couple of steps to the East and you're in the Atlantic. Because you know, East side's the best side. :)
An Authentic Coconut Smelling Candle
Another thing you'd know about me if you read the blog regularly, is that I am a huge candle fan. I really don't tend to discriminate against any candles for that matter, but I particularly love a coconut candle. Because I am a very big fan of the beach, sun, and a tropical environment in general, the scent of coconut makes me generally happy. In the middle of the winter sometimes, I love to light a coconut candle and think about the summer.
Flowers
Anything that has to do with flowers or a floral pattern, I'm in. I think it's generally known that flowers usually make people a lot happier when they're feeling down. I am a huge plant lover in general so anything that emits that energy into the air in the room makes the atmosphere much more breathable. Everything becomes much more enjoyable.
A Family Day
I look forward to talking more about my family in the future on the blog, but for now I know you've seen a couple of posts where I have done things with them. Whether I am upset and need cheering up or I'm having the best day ever, chilling with my family always just makes everything ten times better. I think it's really important to make sure you take time to spend with family because there's never enough!
New Shoes/Clothes
I know retails therapy isn't always an option, but I can't lie: it always makes me extremely happy. Even if it's just one or two things, it's a nice refreshing feeling to have something new that you can create with. Not only this, but sometimes buying one new thing or maybe even exchanging with a friend can give you inspiration to use older things in your wardrobe that you don't normally!
