Serving you some Christmas realness today with this adorable DIY banner. Check out more photos and the steps of how to do it below:

You're going to need the banner, twine/string, pom pomps, a glue gun and some glitter.

I laid down each pennant and the cords that I planned on stringing through it all.

I began stringing the cords through each pennant. It should be said that the banner ONLY came with the cream colored rope. I wanted a little something extra, so I added in the bakers twine and the burlap ribbon for an multi-dimensional touch. I love the way it turned out.

At the tip of each pennant, I put some glue from the gun and spread it out evenly. Shape off a perfect 90 degree triangle at the bottom tip of each pennant for a precise measurement of glue.

There you go! Of course this banner is absolutely customizable to however you'd like, but I love how adorable this specific one came out. I like how the glitter clings in sort of a faint gradient because the banner is felt. For more ideas, check out my Halloween banner for additional inspiration!
